SharePoint Migration

Led the planning and implementation of SharePoint architecture, including site setup and document migration. Developed technical documentation for departments, enabling efficient document management. Key achievements include creating custom lists for critical items such as new employee onboarding that needed to dynamically expire off the home page after a week, enhancing organizational efficiency and workflow.

Scheduling PowerApp

Designed and assisted in the development of the company's inaugural internal application, integrated via API with our Electronic Health Record (EHR) software. This application established essential scheduling guardrails, addressing deficiencies in the EHR system. By simplifying processes for new schedulers and preserving institutional knowledge, the application mitigated operational risks associated with staff turnover.

Document Review Process

Implemented a proactive document review system using SharePoint and Power Automate. Utilizing metadata columns, I automated monthly review notifications for documents scheduled for update. Content owners, typically leaders within the organization, receive automated emails prompting them to review documents. Then developed a user-friendly front-end interface using PowerApps with PDF viewing capabilities and action buttons ('Approve/Make Changes') for content owners to assign tasks to their teams. Integration with our ticketing software ensured seamless communication and tracking of document updates, enhancing efficiency and accountability in document management.

Directory PowerApp

As part of migrating our custom intranet site to SharePoint, led the development of a new solution for our employee directory. Working closely with our development and systems teams, we automated the process of importing employee data into a SharePoint list using Power Automate and Azure integration. Leveraging this data, I designed and implemented a user-friendly Power App to serve as our new employee directory.

Kudos PowerApp

As part of our intranet migration to SharePoint, I spearheaded the development of a Kudos app to facilitate employee appreciation, enhancing upon our previous system. Collaborating with teams, I integrated Microsoft Graph to enable users to quickly send kudos to top colleagues. I also enhanced functionality by allowing users to view all sent and received kudos, fostering a culture of recognition and engagement within our organization.

Workflow Analysis

I conducted a workflow analysis for a department transitioning from network drives to SharePoint for document management. Previously limited by network drives lacking version history and collaboration tools, I implemented SharePoint capabilities. This included training on utilizing SharePoint for document management, highlighting features such as version history and real-time collaboration with simultaneous editing. The transition enabled the department to enhance document tracking, version control, and collaboration efficiency, empowering team members with modern tools for improved workflow management.
